Pest Spraying
Not all pesticides have to be chemical and poisonous. You can produce your own organic pesticides. Homemade insecticide sprays can be made from garlic, onions, cayenne peppers and liquid soap, and this is good to use on plants attacked by insects. Buttermilk, flour and water can be made into a spider and mite spray that can be safely used in the garden and will keep all manner of insects away. There are numerous other natural products that work as pest control agents.

Strategies of pest control

Keep the premises clean, hygienic and free of food scraps
Use biological controls: try using natural enemies (e.g. cat for mice)
When using pesticides try to use naturally based ones
Traps are effective against mice (lethal) and possums (non-lethal)
